my story

Where it began…

Twenty-four years ago, I sat down to meditate for the first time. I didn’t know what I was doing. My mind was restless, my thoughts were loud, and I was certain I was “doing it wrong.” But I kept coming back — day after day — because something about it felt true.

Over time, something shifted. Not dramatically. Not all at once. But quietly and deeply — the way a river shapes stone. I became more watchful. Less reactive. More at home in my own skin.

Along the way, I started sharing what I had learned — informally, with people who were curious, anxious, or simply exhausted. Watching them find their own stillness was something I couldn’t unsee. It became the reason I started lifensmile.com, and now the reason I offer these 1-on-1 sessions.
